It's the week of our big day!
Just like that, Fall 2017 is here. 442 days of planning. 250 calls to home. 100 wedding invitation design mockups (because, I had to make it PERFECT!). 6 days to go.
And wow, there are many details to finalize. My "paper list" continues to grow - wedding programs, place cards, menu cards, hotel bag inserts, table numbers, stickers, signs (for the bar, bathroom, dessert table, cards, guest book..), ketubah (jewish marriage license), a timeline for the bridal party...
I get it. These may seem like small details, but to me, paper is everything. I obviously have a design obsession with all of OUR wedding day stationery.
We're getting married in a rustic barn, located outside Williamsport, PA (my hometown). My fiancé, Carl and I absolutely love a modern rustic look/feel. To keep a rustic theme, I designed us wedding invitations printed on wood. A micro-thin wood veneer paper to be exact. Tied with lace and twine, giving this a soft romantic touch. Featured in an Oak finish. Badass, huh?! :)
We just love it. It truly AMAZED our guests and has led us to our wedding day. Stay tuned for all the rustic wedding stationery photos.
Here's to being newlyweds on October 8th! Cheers.
